ELF Eye Transformer

The E.L.F. eye transformer can be purchased at www.eyeslipsface.com/ under their Studio Line.  It retails for $3 but ELF always has a ton of coupon codes so you can get it for less.  The eye transformer is used to "convert your shadows into brand new shades with these four opalescent shadows."

The best way to see their transforming "power" is to use it over a dark shadow or base.  I swatched them over MAC's blackground paintpot.

There is a greenish, goldish/orange, pinkish, and purplish (lots of "ishes") shade.  You can see that swatched alone they look like white shadows but over the shadow you can see the difference.
I think this is awesome because it gives you endless possibilities of colors with the shadows you have already, and for $3 for 4 shadows, i think its a great deal!

Green with Irene

Green nail polish isn't always that wearable in my opinion.  Irene by Zoya, however, is a gorgeous olive golden green that I think would compliment most skin tones.  I think its a perfect color to transition into the fall season.

What do you guys think?  I am loving this color and I'm wearing it on my toes too!

On a different note, these pictures really bring out my paleness, LOL.

I BURNED MYSELF....AHHHHHHHHH IT HURTS!

OMG, I just burned myself with a curling iron! can you say "OUCH!" I was curling my hair and had the iron in my right hand, i accidentally let go and i tried to catch it with my HAND!!! WTH! can you say "GENIUS???"  Well, now my right hand is in pain.  I think its really interesting how the other fingers on my right hand that didnt get burned feel really cold, and all the heat is rushing to the fingers that were injured.

This is probably one of my more serious burns.  The other time was when (i was being stupid, of course) i burned my hand on the metal racks in the oven!!! I hope this doesn't blister.  I only had some neosporin around the house so i put that on it.  Any other suggestions??? Should i pick up some Aloe?

Well on a different note, here's waht my Posh nailpolish looks like today (day 7).  I think its time for a change of color =)

Posh Day 4&5

So, this is what my nails looked like on day 4. You can see a little "bald" spot on my middle finger. But for the most part, only minimal wear and tear on the tips.  And keep in mind, this is without a base or top coat!

Here's a picture of my nails on Day 5.  You can see that the chip on my middle finger has gotten a little bit bigger but still very minimal.

Something to note about this polish, its one of the matte velvets, is that it doesn't stay matte.  I haven't been using a hand cream or lotion of any type (zoya suggests not to) to keep it looking matte but I noticed that it wasn't as matte as when i first applied it.  Its not shiny like normal polishes, but its not as matte anymore either.
